TrueCrypt is a software system for establishing and maintaining an on-the-fly-encrypted volume (data storage device). On-the-fly encryption means that data are automatically encrypted or decrypted right before they are loaded or saved, without any user intervention. No data stored on an encrypted volume can be read (decrypted) without using the correct password/keyfile(s) or correct encryption keys. The Entire file system in question is encrypted (e.g., file names, folder names, contents of every file, free space, meta data, etc). Small footprint, compact and easy to use. Can be used from a thumbdrive to access the encrypted information on any pc without having to install on said PC. Applications can also be encrypted with this program.

Nmap
Nmap ("Network Mapper") is a free and open source utility for network exploration or security auditing. SDelete
The only way to ensure that deleted files, as well as files that you encrypt with EFS, are safe from recovery is to use a secure delete application. Secure delete applications overwrite a deleted file's on-disk data using techiques that are shown to make disk data unrecoverable, even using recovery technology that can read patterns in magnetic media that reveal weakly deleted files. SDelete (Secure Delete) is such an application. You can use SDelete both to securely delete existing files, as well as to securely erase any file data that exists in the unallocated portions of a disk (including files that you have already deleted or encrypted). SDelete implements the Department of Defense clearing and sanitizing standard DOD 5220.22-M, to give you confidence that once deleted with SDelete, your file data is gone forever.

KeePass
KeePass is a nice enough program for storing account information. While it needs add on's to automatically detect details in web forms and such it is still a very good piece of software. More feature rich and security conciouse than most I have seen, but still managing to not Over Complicate itself. The software can be run from a thumbdrive and can also use thumbdrives or floppys to ack at security tokens for double authentication security.
